The health, awareness, and culture of each community requires analyzing the role of the family. Therefore, Nikan Charity has given priority to the task of strengthening the family foundation.

Family is important enough to be called “The Core of Humanity” and the future of the individuals depends on familial relationships. Each member needs to have the awareness and capabilities to perform their roles. Supporting families in need is the most realistic approach to the development of society.

The role of individuals and NGOs in empowering families is absolutely paramount. Culture, health, and the future of a country are closely connected to financial status, education, and inner peace of families.

NIKAN CHARITY

Nikan Mammut Charity Foundation, a supporter of families, with registration number 26394, is an NGO established in October 2010. Observing and understanding the difficulties families in poverty face, led to the establishment of the charity foundation. Going down the road of charity work is like stepping into the unknown. It is an arduous journey that is made to aid fellow human beings.

By following this road and with the support of charitable sponsors, Nikan Mammut Charity Foundation has been able to take comprehensive measures to fulfill its strategic goals and provide services to individuals regardless of their gender, nationality, religion, and age. Since its establishment, Nikan Mammut Charity Foundation has been a pioneer in providing services in conformity with national and international standards; and has fully and actively cooperated with community members to fulfill its mission.

THE VISION OF NIKAN CHARITY

From our point of view, supporting those in need through financial aid is not enough or sustainable. Rather, a human-centered approach of planting seeds of hope in people’s hearts, instilling self-belief and strengthening self-confidence are among the most important factors of personal growth and moving towards a better future. 

From this point of view, the vision of Nikan Charity can be summarized as follows:

“We want a world where all families can live in health and happiness. Burden of diseases is at a minimum and access to treatment is easy. Problem solving is possible for all families, regardless of their socioeconomic status.”

Nikan Mammut Charity Foundation’s Social Responsibility

All human beings and organizations have a set of responsibilities towards society, each other and the environment, which are referred to as individual and organizational social responsibility. In the past, individuals had a fairly traditional point of view, they only held themselves responsible to their families and relatives. However, nowadays, with improved forms of communication, it is possible to be informed of people’s state of being globally. Therefore, fulfilling humanitarian responsibilities is made easy. We are honored to have the generous support of leading and distinguished companies ever since the establishment of Nikan Mammut Charity Foundation. 

Moreover, to fulfill environmental responsibilities, Nikan has proceeded to include environmental activities in our action plan. It is believed that the Earth isn’t our ancestral inheritance, but rather it is a trust given to future generations.
